January adventure
"garbage-bagging": sliding down on your belly (while giggling & screaming) on a very steep & icy hill, wearing garbage bags.

I love the feeling of a new year. A fresh start. Here is my list of resolutions & things I would like to accomplish in 2010:
Read the entire Book of Mormon & do so consistently
Pray daily
Be optimistic & easy going
Exercise consistently & feel healthy
Be a better housewife.. Cook more dinners (& at least one meal completely from scratch!)
Make photo albums for 07, 08, & 09
Swing from a rope swing into a lake
Swim in the ocean
Go to the dentist
Jump on the bed
Stay in Provo for the weekend
Feel like every room in my house is "decorated"
Become a published/featured photographer
Have lunch with 15 different friends
Look for adventures by doing something new each month

2009.
In Spring, I was busily trying to get our thank you cards in the mail, we took a trip out to Vegas with friends, & best of all.. we found our home! Cousin Austin got his mission call, we celebrated Easter, and had Kristie for a short visit. In May.. we took a trip to Southern Utah, Whitney announced her decision to serve a mission, Austin had his mission farewell, and Whitney and I got lost on a hike with Curtis & his friends but when we made it to the waterfall.. it was all worth it!
2009 brought so many changes for us. It has been a year of adventure and although not always easy, 2009 has been very good to us. We have started our journey together. We bought our first home, made wonderful friends, took some wonderful trips, and we've grown so much from the lessons of this year. When I look back on 2009, I feel a simple and lovely feeling: happy. Thank you to all of our family and friends who made our 2009 sweet bliss. I can't wait for what 2010 brings! Happy New Year, my dears..
p.s. you're very welcome for not enlarging the photos of the post.
