The last weekend of October

(picture from a Halloween photoshoot last weekend)

Last night, I hosted a Halloween party with a handful (or two) of our neighbors. It was an incredibly fun night with Dr. Seuss characters, Mario & Princess Peach, and even a little airplane pilot. Tonight, Mr. and I are going to another party. I have so many Halloween festivities to post but, November is on it's way!! Is it bad to do a Halloween update in November?

... Oh well! Have a great Halloween!
(ah, I love this time of year.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last night, I was filled with excitement. I felt like dancing and running and I couldn't stop smiling. We got news from the city that everything is set for the 5K for Allen and Jill, we don't need a permit and that is truly an answered prayer.

Everyday this week, I've gotten an e-mail from somebody willing to donate, in some way, to our friends.
There are amazing people in this world and I am privileged to know so many wonderful individuals.
Thank you for your help and support!

up in the air..

I am..

-feeling blessed to know so many wonderful and giving people
-still feeling stretched but, also feeling at peace
-enjoying sharing a car with Mr. It's fun to have him drop me off to work and pick me up at the end of the day. (Jared's car is in the shop, getting a new engine & clutch. Yikes!)
-wanting Autumn to stay forever :)
-missing certain people
-feeling close to the Lord
-feeling like many things are up in the air but..

...I know they will all fall into place.

Donations.

Hello friends,

A year and a half ago, Jared and I moved into our first house. We have absolutely loved living where we do. We love this house that is now our home and we have been truly blessed with the people we've met. We love the many wonderful neighbors and dear friends that we have found here.

A few months after moving in, we met our neighbors, Allen and Jill. They have become dear friends who we love very much. We quickly learned that they had been trying to have a baby for sometime and we have been praying for this to happen ever since.

Recently, they found out that without In Vitro Fertilization, they have a very slim chance of getting pregnant. So, this is the next path to venture on for our friends except, this path comes at a high cost. $12, 000.

There will be a yard sale fundraiser held for our friends on Saturday, November 6th.
(Location will be announced at a later date.) I write this to ask for donations of any kind to sell at the yard sale for Allen & Jill. If you have anything that you would be willing to donate, please let me know and I would be happy to pick it up from your house.

Thank you.

See Jill's blog about their journey here.

The Weekend Song

We stayed with friends, Rob & Mckenzie, in their family cabin and admired the most amazing yellow leaves, played games until the early hours of the morning, and slept in until the morning hours were almost over.

When we pulled out of Maple Lane, I wished we could stay the entire week. Oh, weekends are wonderful aren't they?

While I eat my lunch..

Life right now.. it's oh so busy.
..and.. I could really cut out all of the fun things that we do but.. I don't want to. :)
This weekend I have 3 photoshoots, double date night, grocery shopping with my newly clipped coupons, and pumpkin carving.

I have a lot to edit and a lot to blog so, stay close by. Hopefully another post will be coming soon.

(p.s. this is for you, Cami.) :)

We love you

This is my family.

I love them, so much.
In Oregon, I started this project for my (dear, sweet) cousin Austin. He is serving an LDS mission in Santa Rosa, California. I hope this brings a smile on his face when I send this to him next week. He comes home in 9 months! :) I've already planned out balloons and signs and pictures for his airport homecoming.. Ah, can't wait!
