one of those lovely days..

-a morning at Wheeler Farm. Which, is just breath taking in the rain!
-thinking about how blessed I am to have the family and the friends that I do.
-running into a friend at the grocery store and talking in front of the toliet paper isle.

Life is so wonderful. Extremely busy. But, wonderful. I wouldn't have it any other way. There are so many exciting things to come. 2010 is proving to be a beautiful year. (I can't believe it is almost May!)

My only complaint at the moment.. How can I find someone who will just pay me to travel the world? If you have a solution, let me know because this is my dream.

xoxo, have a fantastic weekend.

(I saw these boys chasing these poor ducks and it made me giggle)

house-i-versary

Sunday was our one year house-i-versary!
To celebrate, we invited the Buhler's over & they have something to celebrate as well! (they just signed on their own home + they have a new baby coming in November)
One year ago, on moving day, we had pizza and orange soda. So, that is what I made for the celebration! After dinner, we took little Oaklee to the park and had so much fun playing with her. She is sunshine. I love her, a lot.

one to live by..

"Invent your world. Surround yourself with people, color, sounds and work that nourish you." - SARK

I spent the weekend..
..photographing around the Bountiful Temple
..eating cafe rio
..around a campfire with dear dear friends
..listening to the cutest four year old tell the cutest jokes
..watching youtube videos with mom & dad (& laughing, a lot.)
..receiving encouraging words from my in-laws
..dreaming of Oregon
..cuddling and laughing with Jared

I know where I am happy in my life and I also know where I am not. But, you know what is great? I have control over that. I've decided that this quote is definitely one to live by.

Happy Easter

General Conference yesterday was bliss. So many prayers answered already. I loved the talk given by Julie B. Beck. Here is a little peice of what she said:

"We know we are successful if we live so that we qualify for, receive, and know how to follow the spirit. When we have done our very best we may still experience disappointments but, we will not be disappointed in ourselves. We can feel certain that the Lord is pleased when we feel the spirit working through us. Peace, joy, and hope are available to those who measure success properly."

Today includes:
-Sunday session of conference.
-an Easter picnic on Antelope Island.
-pondering the words of the prophets.

Happy Easter.
