Cream puffs & Balloons

making wishes.
I can't wait for the beautiful wedding..

Smitten

The month of July+friends visiting = bliss.
One night, Whitney, ShayLee, and I went to Temple Square.
Jared was home studying.

While we were walking into the grounds, ShayLee started giggling uncontrollably and when we asked her repeatedly what she was giggling about.. this was her reply:
"I just saw a really cute missionary"
"Huh. You must really be smitten..."
We kept walking thinking Shay may attack this elder soon.

Suddenly I hear someone running behind me, I turn around to see that it is.. my husband.
He was being irresponsible and sneaky but, boy was I the smitten one after that..

Surprise Toilets

Last weekend while camping, Curtis surprised us with this.
..and that was really nice.
Mesquitos were plentiful, campfire was constant,
and the girls got lost.
(Oops!)

The Lord really loves Whitney. A lot.

Whitney opened her call last week.

She's going exactly where she wanted. Exactly.
And it makes me think: How wonderful that the Lord loves us and knows us. Oh, does he know us!

She leaves October 16th.

P.S. Richard has just returned from his mission! He was serving in.. Leeds England.
He was very excited to hear about Whitney's news.

Nicknames

I've had quite a few nicknames.
My favorite?

Sarah Dee.
My uncle Kent (my Dad's twin) calls me that.
I just got a message from him on my phone:

"Sarah Dee, it's your uncle.."

I love being called that. And I love my uncle.

:)

Watermelon and oreo balls

Holidays. I love them.

And I love the fourth.
It was a good one too. A festive party at Curtis', family, friends, 4th of July outfits and gooooood food.

But, my memory card no longer gives out my memories.
Good news: My camera isn't broken, after all.
Bad News: My 4th of July memories.. gone.

Well, that might be a little dramatic..
